University Ministry helped Irene Quesnot, our Minister for Faith Formation and Faith Enrichment with cupcakes and a Chinese buffet lunch. ¡Feliz Cumpleaños!
University Ministry hosts its first Lenten fish fry for the season. With a little more than 100 students, faculty, and staff everyone enjoyed the Lenten meal with good music, yard games and fellowship.

It was a wet and cold morning, but by midday, the University Ministry living room was the place to be as we surprised Fr. Rudy Vela, S.M. our Vice President for Mission and Identity with a celebration in honor of his birthday. Over 50 members of the University faculty, staff, administration, board members and Marianists were present to surprise Fr. Rudy.
A Mariachi group provided the music for the lively gathering and with enough food to feed everyone and more. After everyone had their share of the meal, the candles were blown and the birthday cake was cut.
University Ministry again hosts the annual Center for Life Directions Christmas Party, including the every anticipated white elephant gift extravaganza!
Unconditional service to individuals regardless of their religious belief, race, or creed are what describes recipients of the Legion of Honor award from the Chapel of Four Chaplains. That award was presented to University Chaplain Fr. Kip Stander, S.M. with more than 40 faculty, staff, administrators, and Marianists present to congratulate him on his national recognition.
The award was presented by Chris Pache (2009 Recipient) and Major Marshall Fulghum (Asst. Professor of Military Science). Also present was Mr. Grady Peavy of Mortuary Affairs at Fort Sam Houston (2008 Recipient)

On Tuesday, November 29, our Residence Hall Ministry team hosted its Second Annual Advent Fest. A little over 60 students, faculty, staff, and Marianists joined for the celebration which began with an Evening Prayer, led by The Bridge, followed by games, social and dinner.
